On Saturday morning hubby took out the dogs to go for a walk. It wasn't that cold but apparently there was still blackice on the road. He didn't see the ice, slipped and fell on his wrist. The dogs got loose and ran back home while hubby was laying on the road. He just got up when German cops drove by. They did not even stop to ask if everything was allright.
Hubby came back home and told me what happened. I was like "Put some ice on it, it's probably just bruised." but it didn't get any better and he was in bad pain so I was like "Get dressed, we are going to the Hospital." After all it was a Saturday and the 2nd Christmas Holiday in Germany.
It turned out that he has a fractured wrist. They put his arm into a temporary cast and sent him to Landstuhl on monday.
So he's on profile for at least three months. Thank god he doesn't need any surgery.

Oh no! I feel his pain, quite literally. The ice is out for blood this year. Hope it heals soon!
