Wee! Thank you Scatterbrain

I know I am totally late and hopefully Scatterbrain can forgive me for being that late but it's been a little crazy out here and I didn't really know to who I could pass on the Award.

Thank you so much for the award, I believe it is my second or the third one I received so far so thank you.The rules are:

1. Thank and link to the person that gave you the award.
2. Pass this award on to 15 bloggers you’ve recently discovered and whom you think are fantastic.
3. Contact said Blogs and let them know they've won.
4. State 7 things about yourself.

Now the hard part... 15 bloggers I've recently discovered. I don't know if I can come up with 15 bloggers but I will try.

Scatterbrained Frame of Mind
(she already received it but I wanted to mention her)
Adventures of Anna the GSD (I love reading about other GSD's)
Scratch My Butt (The title cracked me up and I love reading it)
Bumbles&Light (My neighbor and I just love her little boy. He's adorable.)
Ride a Good Horse (reading that one for a while though)
Ella Online (A Germans blog about a German Shepherd)

These are the blogs I pass the Award on.

Now 7 things about me.

  • I was run over by a car (an American Soldier who had married into my sisters godmothers family) and sat in a wheel chair for about a year when I was 13 years old. That was in 1991.
  • Martial Arts... I was the South German Champion in 1997, the Vice German Champion in 1997 and the Vice Kurpfalz Champion in 1996
  • My first horse was a little white Shetland Pony named Sonja.
  • My last horse was a gorgeous Palomino Quarter Horse mare named Bar Vandy None.
  • All in all I had 8 horses throughout my Childhood and Teenage years
  • I love my family

Have a great weekend everybody, I got to get ready for the puppy class, Agility training and later on my friend and neighbor T. is holding a huuuge BBQ with bouncy house and everything. LOVE THAT GIRL!

Take care ya'll.

Hi Shirley,

yes, Vandy was very fast but we had one horse that was even faster than her. Her name was Maple Lane Lady. The other Quarter Horse was Zips Bernadette.

We bred all three of them and Maples son as well as Vandys daughter are very successfull horses in Germany.

My parents mainly breed Hessian Horses. My sisters are both professional horse trainers and compete up to S-Dressage and Horse Jumping. I was the only one that switched from dressage to Western Riding.

But as of right now I couldn't even ride if I want to. It wouldn't be fair to the horse with so much weight. :)

Thank you for linking back to me.

I didn't know that you used to ride! I don't get to ride as often now as I'd like since I had to sell my horse, but horses are the true love in my life. I ride western too and I love it. If I were to ever switch to English, I'd want to do dressage. To me, precision, responsiveness, and grace on horseback are far more satisfying than speed.. but that can be fun sometimes too!

Yeah, I used to ride. My entire family is horsecrazy. We literally grew up on the back of a horse LOL.
Both of my sisters are professional trainers and riders, that's all they do for a living and it is one of the toughest jobs out there.

One day I am going to have a horse again. I know I will... I don't think hubby understands what he has done when he married into our family because he isn't as dog and horse crazy as we are. LOL
