I am still alive

I know that I have been absent lately.

Some updates so far:

- it's easier than I was told to find landlords who are willed to rent out to multiple dog owners. Ever since I included videos of the dogs into my email I've actually had people writing me back. However there were some bad apples in between who wanted to rent out the place without anyone having seen it which is just not going to happen.

- everything is falling into place. We've finally got notice from the embassy that the first package is approved. Now we are waiting for the letter so we can get the second appointment for the interview.

- I also contacted one of the search & rescue teams in the Area. It didn't even take them a day to write back with tons of information. I am really looking forward into getting SAR. It will help me to settle in, and definitely give me something to do. Best part, the trainer is German too.

It is amazing how many people are willing to help with either information or volunteering their time to go to some of the places and check them out for us. I will be forever thankful for everybody that is helping us with the move.

Thank you, what you guys are doing is amazing and without your knowledge, kindness and friendship I am not sure how I would handle it.

I'm so glad everything is working out. Good luck on your interview and stuff :) Before I went to my interview I heard horror stories about them and was so worried, but our guy went totally easy on us because we were military affiliated.

I had brought a big pile of "proof" that our marriage was legitimate and he barely looked at it. It was probably the most straightforward part of the whole process. So good luck!

Thank you Ladies.

I can't believe that in a couple of weeks, we'll be in the US. We haven't received the letter yet, hopefully it'll be in the mail on monday so we can get the second appointment.

I amazed about the help we've been receiving from German Shepherd/Malinois people in the US.

Hope you all have a great weekend. :)
