... I just wished we wouldn't have to move ... again...
That is pretty much all I have to say. It's been 23 days since I got here and I thought we were finally done with PCS'ing to the States. Now we can pack everything back up (which we just unpacked) and get a U-Haul.
At least we are moving into a habital place where I don't get a headache as soon as I walk in.
Also, Colorado the German Shorthaired Pointer showed up on our porch two days ago. It explains why Indra was going havoc all night long. He must have been out there during the night. Poor guy was freezing and very hungry. We kept him for two days and I put a message out on Craigslist but nobody answered.
After dropping off hubby at work I went back home, took him and drove down the road. We went from house to house and asked everybody if anyone knew him. Halfway down the road somebody was like "Yes, he came here last year and visited us on a weekly basis. Poor dog escapes all the time."
So I followed his direction and finally found his owners home. Of course nobody was home. The female chewed through her leash as well and came running out the garage. So I had two Pointers in my hand. We went from neighbor to neighbor but nobody seemed to be home.
Since nobody really locks their doors in this Area I tried opening his housedoor and indeed, it wasn't locked. How convenient ( :) ) I took both the dogs, led them into the house and closed the door behind me.
I would have loved to see his facial expression when he got home and saw that both his dogs are safe and sound in the house.
A couple of hours later Audie, moved temporarily in with us. He's a Great Dane (and such a sweetheart) and going to stay for a couple of days with us.
Anyhow, I hope you have a blessed and a Merry Christmas :)
