My mother is one of the strongest, most hard working women I know. She never complains when she is in pain and she is in pain a lot. She simply sucks it up and moves on. You can only see it when she's limping. I don't know what it is with her foot but she never complains about it. She moves on an does the work and she has a lot of work to do.
She is the only one who is keeping the household and trust me, it's a very big house!
She gets up in the early morning, feeds the horses and the dogs. She will not eat before that. The animal and pets come first. After she prepared the breakfast table she will go outside and clean the stables with my dad. They usually have two ranch hands but since they are on leave they have to do everything on their own and it is a lot of work to clean over 60 stables.
She is also keeping the office and has to juggle everything in one day. So she gets up early in the morning, works, works and works some more, prepares all the meals, does the housework and keeps the office. I am not sure how she does it but I am damn proud of her and love her to death.
When I have my whiny moment, thinking that I am overwhelmed with everything I just have to think about her and know that I could have it a lot worse.
